Popular activist and social commentator, VeryDarkMan (VDM), has once again sparked reactions online after sharing a powerful message appreciating Nigeria’s military men.
Taking to his Instagram handle, VDM posted a video of himself on a boat with military officers at sea. In his usual blunt style, he reminded Nigerians that while many people are at home relaxing, enjoying life, and spending quality time with family, there are soldiers across the Army, Navy, and Air Force risking their lives daily to ensure peace and security.
According to him, while citizens are “relaxing, enjoying, making love, and living good,” some real men are in the bushes, some in the air, and some on the high sea — all working tirelessly to protect the nation.
> “Your kids are playing in the field, gaming and living a good life… but it’s because some real men are out there making sure your enjoyment does not stop, making sure y’all are safe. God bless our military men,” VDM stated.
The activist ended his post with a heartfelt salute to the courage and sacrifice of the Nigerian military, urging citizens to appreciate their efforts more.
This bold message has since drawn attention online, with many agreeing that the military deserves more recognition for their sacrifices, while others praised VDM for highlighting their efforts.
