Kano Police Arrest Three Armed Robbery Suspects, Recover Stolen Vehicle

The Kano State Police Command has successfully apprehended three suspects linked to an armed robbery incident that occurred in Abuja, recovering a stolen vehicle in the process.

The Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna, confirmed the development in a statement on Wednesday.

According to Haruna, the arrests were made on 6th September 2025 following a sustained surveillance operation carried out under the directives of the Commissioner of Police. The operation was conducted in collaboration with local vigilante groups.

The suspects were identified as:

Ismail Imran (20 years old)

Abdulaziz Yahaya (31 years old)

Musa Ibrahim Isah (29 years old)


All three hail from Rigasa Quarters in Kaduna State.

Haruna noted that the suspects are currently in custody and undergoing investigation, with further updates expected as the case progresses.

This latest breakthrough highlights the Command’s commitment to tackling crime through intelligence-led policing and community collaboration.
