US President Donald Trump has announced that the official 2026 FIFA World Cup draw will take place at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.
Standing alongside FIFA President Gianni Infantino, Trump described it as a “tremendous honor” for the United States to host the prestigious event.
> “We’re spending a lot of money to make the Kennedy Center beautiful,” Trump said during the announcement.
The 2026 World Cup will be co-hosted by the United States, Canada, and Mexico, marking the first time three nations will jointly stage the tournament.
